ABOUT THE FILM
From Michael Sanabria Gallardo and an Emmy Award-winning team of storytellers comes a breathtaking and emotionally charged portrait of resilience, rooted in the sun-drenched shores of Puerto Rico. Alelí Medina is sixteen years old, visually impaired, and a world champion para surfer. With her father as her guide in the water and her family as her foundation on land, she sets her sights on an unprecedented fourth consecutive world title. The result is an intimate and visually stunning film that explores disability, cultural pride, and the extraordinary things that become possible when love refuses to accept limits.
